Situated on a cliff on the Caldera, there was no such thing as a bad view from the Loucas Hotel in Fira, Santorini.
| We spent a week at the Loucas and give it a BIG thumbs up. The hotel staff was extremely helpful, the rooms were great, and the views were incredible! Alex was always there with a warm smile and ready to lend a hand no matter what was needed; directions, places to see, tours, he even arranged for the rental car company to deliver our Fiat to us over lunch. How is that for service? |  |

As it turned out, Maxine had a neighbor of sorts working there. Sharon, from Wilmington, NC relocated to Santorini a few years ago with her husband to enjoy the peaceful life of this Greek Island. She always had great suggestions on dining and places to visit. |
| The only hang up was our teeny, tiny little bathing basin. They call it a bath tub but when you have to put your feet on the wall to get your back wet, it just does not have the same effect! |  |
