After exhausting every shop, cafe, and sight to see in the Plaka District we hired a taxi for the afternoon to check out the surrounding areas. We thought we had the best driver possible as he was very pleasant and quite the tour guide, little did we know we was going to be a crooked cabbie! Thankfully we did not know this until after we enjoyed the afternoon.

and saw the changing of the guards at the Tomb of the Unknown soldier (Agnostos Stratiotis). |
| We also visited the National Archeological Museum of Athens and saw 3000 years of Greek history. Next to the statue of Athena, the one of the Jockey of Artemision, dated at the end of the 1st century BC, was my favorite. |

Then we drove over to the port town of Piraeus and took in the scenery. |
